(1)shake为动词,意为“颤抖,摇动”。还可以作名词,意为“摇动,抖动”,其过去式为shook。
(2)move用作及物动词时,意为“移动”。也可用作不及物动词,还可表示“搬家,感动”。

本句中to protect yourself为动词不定式作目的状语。
4.You need to have something strong around you to protect you from falling objects.
