What is its name?
In the early twentieth century,people suffered through many wars. When World War Ⅱ was over,an organization called the United Nations (the UN) was formed to help countries talk about their problems instead of ❶ fighting. That was in 1945.
Today there are 193 member states in the UN. The headquarters of the UN is in New York City. The head of the UN,chosen by all the member states,is called the SecretaryGeneral. The UN Security Council has fifteen members,five of which❷ are permanent members—China,France,Russia,the U.K. and the U.S.
Many times since 1945,the UN has sent armies to keep peace between two fighting countries. It helps the situation,but sometimes it is not successful.

3. 由who,what,which,how,

(2) before和after

(3) until
until引导时间状语从句,表示主句谓语动词所表示的动作持续到从句谓语动词所表示的动作发生为止。其常用结构not ... until ... 表示“直到……才(开始)……”。如:

(4) as soon as
as soon as引导的从句表示从句的动作一发生,主句的动作随即发生,意为“一……就……”。如:
