1.though与 although同义,一般情况下可以互换。只是though较普通,常用于非正式的口语和书面语中,而although较正式。另外,although语气比though强,常用于强调让步概念。
2.though可以和even构成词组even though,意为“即使;虽然”。
even though与even if同义,而although无此用法。
We'll make a trip even though the weather is bad.
即使天气不好,我们还是会去旅行。
Even though I fail, I'll keep on trying.
即便失败了,我仍会继续尝试。
3.though可单独作副词,常放在句末,与all the same(还是;仍然)或however(可是;然而)同义,而although无此用法。
