◆What's up?怎么了?
what's up表示询问对方出了什么状况。
【拓展】What's wrong with you?What's the matter/trouble with you?What's happened to you?等都可以表示“怎么了?/出了什么事?”
◆We are supposed to describe ourselves in a report.我们要写一篇报告来描述自己。
be supposed to意为“应该,认为必须,被期望”和should意思相近。
eg:They were supposed to be here an hour ago.他们应该在一个小时前到达这里。
◆I'm a good student, and I think I'm a good person.我是个好学生,而且我认为我是个好人。
person表示“人”,是个体名词,泛指man,woman 或child中的任何一个,其复数形式是persons,但人们习惯用people代替persons。persons作为复数形式用于正式或法律语言中。“一个人”常译作a person,而需要说明一个人的性别时,要用a man或a woman来表示。
◆be proud of=take pride in为……感到自豪。

(2)Nobody else in my school comes from Greece!在我的学校里没有其他的人来自希腊!
① nobody复合不定代词,意“没有人”,相当于no one, 它只可指人。nobody作主语时,谓语动词用单数形式。
There was nobody in the room. 房间里没有人。
Nobody knows about it.没有人了解这件事。
②else此处用作形容词,意为“别的;其他的”。它还可作副词,意为“另外,其他”。
⒈ else用在something, anything, somebody, anybody, nobody, everything等 不定代词的后面。
例:Do you want someone else to help you?
你想让别人来帮助你吗?
I don’t have anything else to do.
我没有其他的事情可做。
⒉ else用在what, who等疑问代词或little, much, all等代词的后面(但不能用于which之后)。
