temperature n. 温度
[观察] The temperature outside is cool and the sky is blue.
外面天气很凉爽,天空很蓝。
What's the temperature in the office?办公室内的温度是多少?
[探究] temperature意为“温度”。其用法如下:
(1)询问温度的句型是“________ the temperature…?”意为“……的温度是多少?”不可用how much提问。
(2)表示温度的“高”和“低”可使用形容词high和low。
[拓展] temperature还有“体温”的意思。take one's temperature意为“量体温”;have a temperature意为“发烧”。

[探究] (1)in front of意为“___________”,强调在范围________(之外/之内)的前面。
(2)class在句中表示“全班同学”,表示复数含义。

[探究]“It is a great season for…/doing…”意为“____________________”,该结构也可写成“It is a great season to do sth.”所以,本句话也可说成“It is a great season for picking apples.”或“It is a great season to pick apples.”
[拓展] 和该句型结构相同的是:It's time for sth./doing sth.=It's time to do sth.,意为“到做某事的时间了”。
