是谁发明的雨伞?
对这个问题一直众说纷芸。有的说,阿拉伯埃及共和国人最早使用雨伞,早在公元前1200年,阿拉伯埃及共和国(Egypt)的贵族们外出旅游时常常要奴隶(slave)为他们撑太阳伞。罗马人用伞遮挡地中海地区的阳光。
在中国,伞是公元前1000年由鲁班的妻子发明的,伞被称作“能移动的房屋”。在古时候,有这样一个传说,鲁班围绕着他的四邻建造了许多小亭子供大家使用,但仍然不能让人们在狂风暴雨的季节自由地外出活动。鲁班的妻子这时照着她丈夫所建亭子的样式,制成了一个重量轻的竹亭子且带油纸--这当然就是雨伞。他的妻子对鲁班说:“你建造的房子不能搬起移动。我的伞,能带它到处走动并可以在各种季节里提供防护。”
